Lack of Vision

at times in the past there were periods and people that looked forward to a better future. the idea being that humans will at some point figure out how to live in a world where everyone lives a decent life.

words like utopia, and the concept of something better have become derogatory. the words being transformed to mean an impossible idea, instead of someone's vision for a better life.
