Community

The village is the basic human unit for survival. Many cultures consider the village to be the true individual, since an individual person could not survive on their own without a village.

In contrast, capitalist society emphasizes the individual person as the basic unit in order to create a dependance on the market economy. It puts every human in competition against every other human.
